Job Overview:

A Financial Administrative Assistant supports the finance team with various administrative and financial tasks. Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and maintain financial records.

  • Document Preparation: Prepare financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and statements.
  • Accounts Payable: Process and verify invoices, prepare payment requests, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Accounts Receivable: Assist in generating invoices, recording payments, and following up on outstanding receivables.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements with financial records.
  • Report Preparation: Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Data Analysis: Compile and analyze financial data to support reporting requirements.
  • Compliance: Ensure financial activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Budget Assistance: Support the finance team in preparing budgets and forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a financial setting.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
    • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
